The journey to make the Bands for Badges Music Festival happen begins and ends with a million thank you’s to so many people, without whom this event surely could not have come to fruition. The countless hours of planning, the week of assembly and organizing, the day of getting it done and day after clean up can only be attributed to the commitment of people who truly believe in why we are here providing a festival to raise money for those in the Armed Forces and our local Police and Fire Departments who find themselves in times of need.
Our gratitude begins with Wendy and Mike from Cape Cod Fairgrounds for giving us the venue to hold this event and believing it was a worthy event to be held at the Fairgrounds. The grounds themselves, the ample parking and gate availability made it the perfect location for us.
We thank Brian at Marathon Sound and Joe at Mobile Stages, LLC for their generosity with the sound and staging. Without these, a musical event of this magnitude could not have happened. Having two stages and a common sound system made the show run smoothly and seamless.

Foodzilla and Eric Christinson for providing great food to our concert attendees. When another food vendor was unable to attend along with Foodzilla. Eric said “Don’t worry, I got it covered” and he did.
To keep the grounds neat and provide clean restrooms for all, our ultimate gratitude to CPR (Clean Portable Restrooms) provided by the Noonan Company, for their very gracious discount to provide the best possible sanitary environment for all attending the Band for Badges event .

An event of this size cannot possibly happen without VOLUNTEERS!! We are so grateful for the people who gave up all or a part of their day to help us with this event. With the exception of a couple of vendors, this event was staffed completely by volunteers and we will be forever grateful for their support and commitment! Some even stayed beyond their original scheduled times to help out when we became shorthanded toward the end of the day. We truly could not have done it without you!!
Last, but by no means least, the Board of Directors for Bands for Badges, all volunteers as well, have used all of their available resources to secure services, sponsors, volunteers, vendors and whatever you could possible think of to make this event possible. There were peaks and valleys and many meetings starting in 2018. This event could not have occurred without them.
